Trusting God

We are still unsure of where God really wants us to be. We contacted the realtor about the home we liked in WV. We have seen doors shut repeatedly and then been surprised at others opening unexpectly. Will was going to go look at the home with his dad while he was in Kentucky for a week helping with a Gospel Meeting. We had gotten in contact with the realtor and the loan company there. She has told us the buyers are very anxious to sell because they want to start building. The weekend Will was going to look someone also wanted to look from Maryland. After talking with the loan officer we were approved for a loan but only if we made the downpayment. The only way to get that immediately would be to pull it from 401K which we decided we did not want to do. We decided that Will would not take a day off to make the long trip when we knew that once he got there with his dad there would still be no way we would be able to sign a contract at that time. I emailed the realtor about a week later just to see if she had talked to the seller anymore about taking it off the market for the winter or what the other buyer thought. She said they wanted to keep it on the market and the other buyer really liked it. Which was ok. We left for vacation and decided that God would take care of us and that we needed to have faith that he would show us what he wanted for us. We got home to an email that the sellers would pay the downpayment but because they took away that type of loan the beginning of Oct. We would still have to pay it upfront and they would work out a payment plan to repay us. So we told her we still did not want to pull from 401K, but are working on saving some. So we are just trusting that God will let us know if this is His plan for us.

    Silverton, the long version.
Can't they just take off a bunch of money so that your downpayment wouldn't have to be as much and you wouldn't have to worry about it?

  2. Well this probably means they would go down to 275000 but we would still need a downpayment of $8500.
