Three weeks in

It is hard to believe that we have already put in three weeks of school. It is going by quickly. With each year I seem a little more organzed and a little more willing to try new things. My tables are working out great as long rows.

We have got a great group of kids this year. I have a great student aide and I even had a parent come by who wants to be my classroom mom, which I was wanting, but was kinda afraid to ask for volunteers because I was not sure what I would get. She will do great though. Ms. Mullens had her as a student and sad she was one of her top three students of all time.

This is her daughter in her art shirt they decorated together. She is in Kindergarten and a great artist already and I am sure her mom is helping to make her very enthusiastic about art.
Will has his annual review this Thurs. so will be headed to the office for the first time in a very long time. He is going to run by the possibility of working long distance. Right now we are trying to get as much as we can saved up for the time that a move may come. We are still trying to decide the best time to check out Parkersburg. We are leaning towards spring break when we will have more time. But still love the house and think it is a great deal so are still trying to decide if we should check things out sooner.
We have started taking classes at the church in the martial arts academy. We are enjoying this. It is a very good workout. We are also excited about the ministry opportunity we will have with people who join from the community.
We will have an afterschool program again this year. I am really excited about some of the projects I plan to try with the students. Japanese laterns for the Christmas parade and animation/claymation.
