50's Style Apron.

While shopping at Hancock fabrics for some material for pillows or curtains for our office, I found a retro apron that was 50% off. I had to get one! I love watching old shows and love things that are retro. At times you'd think I would have done well to live in the 50's; black and white television, not so many crude things on television, cool cars, poodle skirts, and saddle shoes. How many people my age are counting down the days (93) till I see Jim Nabors in Concert. I cannot wait to see and meet him. We will probably be the youngest people at the concert but I am thrilled. I have tried to watch some of the modern shows but cringe when I watch more that five minutes of reality TV. Sometimes I have tried to watch some of them because I feel left out in conversations, but it is not worth the torture I feel like I'm being put through to understand what people are talking about! What era have you thought it would be cool to be alive during? I guess the Renaissance period comes in a close second for me.

I want to live in the future. I don't like crude things either, but then I could fly around in space ships and dance on the moon.
