French Market, Catherdral, and walk back
We walked through the French Market. It was too early in the season to have anything fresh for sale. Most of the booths had no prices and the one place I showed interest in on some African Masks wanted me to haggle with her so we just left. She wanted me to name a price after she said something outrageous. We stopped at the Cathedral. There were homeless people sitting everywhere. One lady was picking magazines and other things up and then throwing it down. This other man, also homeless told us she was crazy. There were also a lot of people on the streets there trying to sell artwork. It was a long walk with all of our souvenirs back to the hotel, but neat to see this old part of the city.
