We have decided to remodel one of the rooms in our house. This room has always been the messiest room and really cluttered. The bed and desk took up too much of the floor space. We have decided to get a day bed with a trundle. So we can use it as a single, couch, king, or two twins. After we ordered that we thought it may be fun to change the paint color. We had a hard time deciding I brought home a bunch of samples neither of us were completely happy with. The next day we went together and found a color we both really liked...China Blue. We were excited to see the color so decided to start on one of the walls. We really had our work cut out. The previous owners did not use tape so we had to get all the dark blue paint off the moulding and doors, and anywhere else we found it. Tillet's recommended goof off which has worked great. The next day I have come home with the flu so the project has been on hold since. The bed came today but the trundle had some broken links so we sent it back. The rest of the bed is okay and we are anxious to get it together and see what it looks like. Maybe this weekend all sickness will be gone and we can get back to work.
Will did all the goof off.
I worked on spackling and painting.
Of course you can see goof off was the perfect job for him.
Will painted the trim work and high places.
One wall done and we love the brightness of the new color. Which is really hard to get a good picture of the true color.
