Our Week

School is back in full swing. I have some great classes this year. And though in some weeks I felt totally unprepared, the week went very well. I have some great kids this year. And am thankful that they actually seem like kids. A few of the 4th grades I had seemed really mature for 4th grade. The first part of the week I came home very tired, but I am not adjusting. I am using a rubric to grade this year. It makes it a lot easier, though I will not be as easy on the kids now, as far as their grades go.

House news: We are still trying to decide what to do and weigh options if we want to pursue a house now. In the meantime the price has gone down $10000, this is exciting because no one has shown interest but now they may. We were thinking of an October trip to go see the house but now are wondering if we should hold off a month and a half.

We are coming up with options as to what to do until May if we put our house on the market here. We have come up with several.

As far as schools it looks like it is very easy to transfer to Ohio from Arkansas license. Ohio is the 15th top paying school, Arkansas is #45 and WV #48, or around that.

We are still having mixed feelings. I love my school and have built the program up from nothing and would miss it greatly.
