Sunday afternoon we headed to Niagara Falls, Ontario, CA for a few days. We headed into Canada via the Peace bridge, which is a toll bridge. Dad handed the first guy we came to $3.00 and the guy said what are you trying to do bribe me. He was wanting to see our identification, which we were not prepared for. So it took us forever to get them gathered up. The attendant then told us he wanted them all at the same time. He only worked till 10pm and he didn't want to spend the whole day with us. We finally got through and made it acroos the border.

Sunday evening we had a great time walking along the falls and river at dusk and seeing the colored lights on the falls. We also happened to be there on one of the nights they had fireworks over the falls so we stuck around to see that. This was my first firework display I had seen this year because I had stuck indoors with Jasper. I really enjoyed it. Esp. since they were far enough away that they were not too loud or bright.

Monday morning we headed back to the falls area to explore and see some of the attractions. We had stopped at the Floral Clock but there were two people working on it and a huge ladder and the colors were not the prettiest I saw them. We stopped at some souvineer shops and then went to the closest parking to the falls which ended up being $20.00 per entry(while walking around we found some as low as $2.00 per day up on the top of the hill). We ate some really good wood fire pizza for lunch. I also noticed that they do not really seem to know what fresh brewed tea was. Then made our way around the tourist traps. We circled around back to the falls area and got some tickets for Journey behind the falls and had a great time. Seeing the falls from this perspective.

We then headed to dinner at Denny's but it had turned into something else, so we went down the road to The Flying Saucer instead. It had a very need atmosphere and huge portions. We split the Chicken Parmesan and it was still too much. We also decided to order water a lot. The drinks were usually over $4.00 with no refills and I was not taking my chances on their tea again. That night we played ingenious and Mom did as good as Sarah does.

Tuesday morning we headed to St. Catherine's, which was about 15 minutes away. We spent a good bit of time waiting for a huge barge to enter the lock and make it's wat up the canal. I wanted to see it start down the Canal and see the bridge raise but we had already spent a good bit of time waiting for the water to rise in the lock and decided to the beach area. There was a working Carousel there that you could still ride for 5 cents. We rode it twice. I rode the giraffe the first time. On our way to the Carousel will and I saw a sign that said the water was not safe for swimming, but when we got up to the beach it said it was fine unless it had rained. There were a few people in but we were leary. And after we felt the water with our toes and felt how cold it was we headed to a seafood restaurant for lunch instead. We typed a movie theater into the GPS, which took us to a shopping center with no theater in sight. So we went into the the mall. I ran into a shop and asked where the movie theater was. In the conversation they asked it I had a GPS I said yes. He told me where two theaters were and that the one in Niagara was actually cheaper and better. So we headed to that one. I was very excited to see Journey to the center of the earth was playing in 3D. We had missed it by 15 minutes though. So in the mean time we decided to go to the italian ice cream shop for Gelato. Though it still did not compare to Mulberry Street Creamery it was the best we had since then. Will had gotten Banana, which was delicious. We headed back to the movie and then ate on an outdoor patio at Mick and Angela's, and Italian Eatery, which was very good.

Wednesday morning we headed back into the states to explore the Stateside park. We got there early and it looked like rain but we got our tickets to Cave of the winds. We really enjoyed the experience and being that close to the falls. The Hurrincane deck was quite and experience.

I added some highlight pictures of the trip and will try to add a photo album tomorrow. We took about a thousand pictures.
